Cox may start carrying HDTV in a couple of weeks but I will need to buy a tuner. For picture or digital audio output (to my D/A) signals, does this quality vary much among the models? Is a Samsung which seems to be the cheapest as good as others? Also, my Pioneer Elite HDTV monitor can accept the component type of D-sub connections. Which is better?
Thanks.

Follow Ups:
DVI connections are best
RGB-VGA are the next best (higher bandwidth than component, freedom from "chroma bug" in the implementations I have seen).
"Component" (in whatever guise) next best.
S-Video and composite are in a contest for last. If there is a true s-video signal on the source (S-VHS, for example) S-video should be better. If not (LaserDisc, for example) it then becomes a contest between the comb filter in the various components (projector, player) and the quality and length of the connecting cables.
