Searched the archives and couldn't find anything conclusive.I'm looking to replace a 36" Toshiba Cinema Series set with something more current and smaller.
Who has the best picture? Panasonic, Sony, Toshiba, Samsung? I'm limited to these brands because Magnolia Hifi is replacing the set for me under warranty and these are the brands they carry. TIA mac.

Since you are not going to be putting out any money, that makes your choice easy. I did a lot of comparison shopping an all of these models accept the Panasonic. Sony was of course the most expensive and had a lot of bells and whistles that you may not need. But hey, if price is of no matter you may as well take them and go for the name.
