Yes the Tosh can produce good video, I use one in my bedroom system, but playing music CD's it's the same as the majority of DVD players, it sucks.

BTW I believe this model has been replaced by the SD-K320. Still has karaoke features (boo! hiss !)but with classier styling, illuminated remote and on-board Dolby Digital decoder. Last time I looked the 310 was still available though.
