Hi,

Am looking at purchasing a RP DLP television to replace my current RP CRT. The two models I have seen on the market are the Panasonic PT52DL52 52" that retails for around $5K and the Samsung HLM507W, which is a 50" that retails for about $500 less.

Do both these units use the same DMD device? Are there any significant differences between the technology used in the Panasonic and Samsung device? Has anyone compared the two and have any recommendations?

Information on these sets seems to be limited, any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks
