I found "You've Got Mail" had promise in droves, but chose to back away from that apsect, almost like the director was ashamed of it. The result IMHO wasn't good nor bad it was "Joe vs. the Volcano" once again.

    ok,
    so it ain't perfect. But i gotta say your comments are a bit harsh; and not just about the movie. I mean, if you want serious subjects, real acting, and plot out the wazoo; rent Bergman. Best to watch them all, chronologically.
