Like yourself I'm about 15 miles away from the towers with ,other than a few trees, a clean shot out there....
Not a lot of lightning out here in Portland,Oregon but the 55 came highly recomended
at CC , it's an attractive package and it caught my attention.....
Just trying to find someone who's actually using one before I plunk down the $
and try it out......

The Turk is a nice looking antenna that will blend in anywhere without sticking out like a sore thumb. If you're allowed to place an antenna outside and don't mind the looks, I highly recommend a basic non-amplified antenna like that cheap Radio Shack yagi I'm using. Might be worth a try without much money at risk if you can.
