When connecting a DVD player to a TV the picture gets brighter and then dimmer...continuously...it seems as if it pulsing every 1/2 second from dim to bright. I have seen this problem twice, in different locations with different TV's and DVD players. Has anyone else experienced this and/or have a fix for this problem? The TV works fine with any other device attached (i.e., Play Station, VCR).

#1 Are you going through a VCR to the TV?#2 Is your TV a TV/VCR model?
#3 If the answers to the above are no , just how are you connecting the DVD player to the TV?
...or the RF cable (ie channel 3)? If it is the RF cable, it may be the old Macrovision copy protection circuits kicking in.
