Is Sony the only company that is taking the time to produce 'new' CRT models? I am referring specifically to the XS955 series. It seems that all of the other companies are working exclusively on DLPs, LCDs and Plasma Monitors.

a sony designer and engineer was interviewed online a while ago and stated that until digital display technology could match and surpass crt technology they will continue to develop their crt technology.
