Thank you, Joe. The picture cleared up after I had if off for a half hour or so. All day it seemed to be getting worse even after I had unwired the speakers and moved them away. Actually, the TV had been on all day until late this evening with non-stop football games. Now I guess I need to pick up a pair of shielded speakers. Sorry I cannot use very good, inexpensive Sound Dynamics speakers with the TV setup. Never occurred to me that they would be unshielded. Thanks again for youir responses.

Can't you just move them away from the display (longer speaker wire)? If they sound good in your setup, why not try to use them?
No, can't. Because of the room design I have to put the TV and gear in a corner which requires the speakers to be right up against the TV. I hope the next pair of speakers I try are well shielded.
