Denon's AVR-985 seems to be the 2805 or 3805. Can anyone explain what the differences are?Thanks!

The 985, 785 etc series are part of their specialty line originally created for sears and large retailers. A sort of private label line so the main line is not discounted. I have an AVR87 (I think) that came from Sears several years ago. Check their website under speciality. The 985 is top and is equal to the 2805. You will see them at Dakmart and other places.
