I picked up a 32" Samsung HDTV a couple years ago, on clearance from best buy, for $700. Circuit City has the current model for $800. Really nice TV for it's price. Not widescreen, but I drive it with my Denon DVD-1600 in progressive mode and the picture is pretty good.
