I have a new Denon 2805 receiver. Everything is hooked up. I can not get the rear channels to play. When I run "auto set-up", I get test tones to the rears so I know they are connected. When I watch either the DVD or the cable, no sound from the rears. Mains, center and subwoofer all work fine. The menu for each source only shows front, center and sub. When I press the rear channel button on the remote, the receiver shows "no surround speakers". It seems as if my receiver is set up to not have surround speakers and I can't figure out how to make them work. Help!

Follow Ups:
Check the manual or set-up menu on the receiver. Maybe there is a section where you have to actually tell the receiver that you have rear surround speakers connected (it doesn't auto sense). The reason there is a rear speaker button on the remote is to turn on/off these speakers, but I have a feeling it's applicable only hwen the receiver actually has been told that you have rear surround speakers hooked up (as in the above suggestion).
Found it. Sigh, two channel was so much simpler.
