i am new to home theater. i use Carver Amazing loudspeakrs (silver edition)as my main stereo speakers. i have heard that since they are bipole speakers, they will not work well as main right and left front channel speakers. do you think this is true? i also want to get a center channel but of course Carver never made a matching center channel. do you think a magneplaner center channel would work well? given the limitations of the carvers should i sell them and start over again?
Thanks for you patience.
You might go to the Carver tech internet page. There is some one who gives tech support for Carver. I think you could use a magnaplaner center channel. If you start over try to match the front and center speakers. The rear are just for effects. Go and listen to a few systems and then decide if starting over is the best decision. Some companies offer complete speaker systems which often saves money.
