Just get a good quality cable from monster, audioquest.. etc.
The ones that come from with the player or from RS are junk. Quality connectors and proper gauge wire with proper insulation WILL make a difference in picture quality. Don't listen to mtrycrafts. He's been blowing smoke out his butt forever on this and just does it to troll.

Well, you are so kind. Since you ARE making some extraordinary claims, please provide your proof that it makes a difference; not your speculations and that you can see a difference. Not convincing at all. And since when is an S-video cable come in different gaged wire? Which ones are 14gage? Do you have a clue?
