Looking for a DVD player to put in the bedroom system (I've got an amp, preamp and am going to purchase a new set of main system speakers).
Should be able to play music without much loss of resolution and comparable on a passive (non-critical) side to my Classe CDP .3. We'd also be watching movies too occasionally and bring it out to the livingroom on the main system. So, it must be rugged and able to withstand regular transit (once a week or so).
Any recommendations? New? Used?
What price range Dude? Also, what part of the Bay Area are you from?
Anything around the $500 level, give or take a few $$$.
I'm in San Francisco but if there's a good deal in the South/East Bay, I'd check it out.
Well I don't want to repeat the pioneer 414 routine ... but its one of the few which can play cd-r and pass 24/96. But gets the lip sync problem once in a while and remote couldn't be worse.
