Just got Mits WS55807. Hooked it up to my Sony DVP-S530D DVD using S-video. Watched Lost In Space...it looked great...very sharp and very clear. Watched It's a Bug's Life. The picture looked fuzzy it has jagged edges. Hooked up our Direct TV Satellite (with S-Video)...the pictures doesn't look sharp...it has jagged edges and on the news segment, the newscasters has slight shadow (ghost) around her. Our Direct TV looks just fine with our (lower end) TV. Is it the Mits WS55807? Did I do something wrong? Or this is typical?Do I need component video cables for the Sony? Will it make that much of a difference since my Sony is no progressive scanned? Talked to Home Theater (where I bought the TV), they said that a little tweaking is needed...like the brightness and the constrast? Can it make that much of a difference? It looked wonderfully at Home Theater ... and they had only DSS signal.

i just bought the same tv. did you ever solve the problem?
eh?
It seems that a shielded S-video cable helps, however, the picture seems to still have the jagged edge. I guess that it's the way that digital TV are.
