From the sound of things, you are looking for an inroom antenna? Not sure how well they will work unless you are near the stations you want to watch.
Basically, yes. For more practical TV watching I can watch down in the
basement area on a larger TV, but it doesn't have rear speakers so on some shows, say the X-files, I wouldn't mind watching in my room. My parents
have a small 13" TV sitting in the kitchen and it gets decent reception with a plain old pole antenna that came with it. I guess most people get cable or so such that my 20" Sony didn't even come with an antenna!! Call me old-fashioned but I have no time for cable.Jay
I agree that cable is no great shakes. If I lived in an area with lots of stations I would not bother with cable. Where I grew up there are now nearly 20 stations that can be picked up by antenna.
The only reason I went back to cable was Babylon 5. The first 4 years on WOR and then the the last year (chapter) on TNT. ... and now TNT is thinking about NOT picking up the sequel series? There outta be a law...
I agree, I love the show!
www.terk.comThey make good quality, indoor, amplified antennas. I have the "Q" for FM radio, works great.
Do they make one for TV?
You also amplify the noise.
Yeah, Terk makes TV antennas. I plugged in my specs per their antenna finder and it returned the TV-25, any experience anybody? Seems like a very
basic variation rabbit ear that I'm sure has some kind of fancy name to it.Jay
