I'm looking to buy either a 32 or 36 direct view TV next weekend and there are so many options out there that I desperately need some recommendations.Price limit is about a grand, although I could stretch a little bit on that. I'll be using this solely as a monitor so my only need and S-vid. input.
Any ideas of what I should be looking at/for?
Follow Ups:
when I lookd recently for 32" TV's, there were a couple of contenders:1. Sony. the Wega;s are pretty nice looking, but too costly and heavy IMO.
2. Panasonic - has some nice superflat TV's. A friend owns one wit hgreat results. His had no component inputs, which may not matter to you, but is a hindrance in a modern HT system.
3. JVC- I nded up buying the JVC 32D500 (now replaced by a 501 model I think). It has component ins- a mostly flat screen that seemed larger than the Sony, and is several hundred dollars cheaper than either Sony or PAnasonic.
