Hi Stew, I have a Toshiba SD2200 player and it has 2 channel analog outputs, but if I'm not mistaken all players do, I'm quite sure it's a pretty standard thing, but I could be wrong. Check responses from others too. The Toshiba I've got is around $250.., but I've seen lesser models for less, mine is about the third one up on the rung of players. Go with Toshiba if you can, my player is excellent. They were very instrumental in the development of the whole dvd process, so they do know their stuff!! Good luck in your endevour!! Peace SteveF

the sony 530 is easily found for under $300 and has the built in. the difference between the two is the added cinema sound of the 560. the toshiba 4109 is another good bet. Check UBID for prices or even Audioreview.com marketplace.
