I'm looking to play a Region B (U.K.) disc.

Follow Ups:
I just bought the multi region bd 105 from Ebay, from a seller I got my 95 from. It has a hardware kit included that allows the user to play any region disk (dvd or BD) with just a simple remote command. I've had it for 2 days, and I've watched some domestic (region 1 for me) dvd's then switched to a Region B blu-ray disk (My copy of "The Long Goodbye"). Easy and beautiful play. If you like, please email me and I'll give you the name of my seller. He's in NYC, and is reliable for me. I"m loving this player, so far.
Happy New Year.
DVD Region 1-6
BluRay Region A,B,C
From Oppo web site
My 105 will play US and Asian DVD's and BluRay's
Under PAL/NTSC conversions, they specifically say "subject to DVD and BD region restrictions". That said, there are hacks to make them region free, like the earlier Oppos.
Jack
I see now there are "mods" for what Jack calls out and I know he is well versed in how this all works.
After reading closer it plays BluRay region code A. DVD is region code 1 and all.
From page 5 my Oppo manual bought in the States.

Gracenote Notice
This player is designed and manufactured to respond to the region management information. If the region number of a BD-Video
or DVD disc does not correspond to the region number of this player, this player cannot play the disc.
BD-Video: This player plays Blu-Ray Discs with marks containing the region code A.
DVD-Video: This player plays DVDs with marks containing the region code 1 and ALL
A quick google search shows that they are available, with the hardware hack already installed. They are about $100 more, which is the price of the mod gear. I have hundreds of imported DVDs, so I'll need multi region. I'll probably get one that's modded in a bit-my Oppo 83 is just starting to go.
JackPS. Oppo used to be famous for their region free DVD players, but that's forbidden with Blu-ray.
