Assuming you use a cordless drill/driver, you can do it in 5 min., just lots of little screws, and the sheet metal back comes right off (SHARP edges).
Also, some screws have a course self-tapping thread, some have machine threads, so keep track what goes where.

...the black self-threading screws are used on the outside to hold on the back, and the silver machine thread screws are used on the inside. And the power supply board is where the 115V cord plugs into the TV. If I can do it, anyone can.
