Everybody loves Rayman!!!Let us know what you think of those 3,if you audition them? I bought my Yamaha after looking at audioreview.com and did'nt know of this site.Don't get me wrong,I love the Yamaha, but would have liked to have had the additional input.Gordy
I used to own the Nak AV-8 and loved it. I moved up to seperates otherwise I would still have it.If DTS isn't important, you can't go wrong with the going price. And considering the next "big" thing is DVD-A, SACD or DD7.1, upgradability isn't that important with whatever receiver you pick in that price range. In a couple years, they will all be outdated. So get something that sounds good NOW, but isn't too expensive to replace later.
That was my reason for buying the Nakamichi AV-8 last year, and ended up just doing that. I sold it and bought the B&K Ref 30 preamp.

That's a good price. And yes, it has all 6 channel preouts. I used it as a preamp to a 5-channel amp before I bought my new preamp.Robert
