I enjoy the psycho-acoustic distance this renders, making the rears truly ambient without loss of imaging or signal degradation from multi-source interference patterns (di-/bi-pole). the sole concern left is the distance from ceiling & floor, now that the speaker disperses vertically.
No but this sounds interesting. What kind of amp are you using for your MGSS?
I find that the NAD works well with Mags, but can't deliver impact from my DIY sub which requires POWER. I know it's only Dolby ProLogic (not DD AC-3), but it's the sweetest HT I've heard yet (looking forward to auditioning the Marantz SR-18) . In fact, I occassionally use it for music, too. I'd use it more if I could zero the rear channel delay.PS: 2.7s front
