Hi Guy, I'm currently using Onkyo 575 but would like to upgrade to a better AV receiver that are more capable in 2 ch stereo reproduction.
I do not want to go into seperate component. I prefer convenient but without sacrifiying sound quality.Highest budget is $3000, any recommendation in any price range would be appreciated
Thanks

I just got my Arcam AVR-100, and am in the process of burning it in. It is SWEET! VERY nice on 2 channel music. Look for a review a little later. . .B

Have you looked at the Onkyo DS-989? Is there anything about the Onkyo brand that you want to change from?Robert
I have no brand preference, just after a decent av receiver capable of good sounding 2 ch stereo music. If possible a av rec with performance close to a 2 ch int amp.
Listen to the B&K AVR-307, Denon AVR-5800 and the Onkyo DS-939, these are all excellant receivers with analog-bypass. I use a Denon AVR-5700, it sounds incredible, articulate bass, lots of resolution and smooth high's.
