I've been trying to decide between a B&K Ref 30 and a SSP 25.
Now my local dealer tells me there's a ssp 30 on the way for
the same price ($3k). Onscreen menus is the only thing he
mentioned as being different. Anyone else hear about this unit?Always,
BGunn
Follow Ups:
It also has a 6.1 (or is it 7.1) inputs that ths SSP-25 do not have.
This will allow you to play DVD-A. It also has some multi-zone
features. You should be able to get a deal on the SSP-25, classe has
authorized some price reductions. I have found a ssp-25 in
austin for $2k, I am waiting on the SSP30William
This from Classe's info@Thank you for your message. The SSP-30 will be released on the market
in about 1 week from now. This new unit does in fact replace the
SSP-25.The US retail is 3000$. The SSP-30 features the following improvements
over the SSP-25:- On screen display
- Remote zone capability
- Multiple DC triggers
- 7.1 ready (a DSP board upgrade will be available in the future for
this new format).
- 7.1 analog input
- Faster processing of digital information.I bought a B&K Reference 30 (one of the toughest audio decisions I've
ever made). Though this is my 1st home theatre setup.Always,
BGunn
