  So far based on your criteria, you should also consider the B&K Reference 30, and the Anthem AVM-1.

    Looking to spend around 2500.00 to 3000.00,looking for a good 7.1 or with good music quilty.. hope that helps look to start a home theather and trying to buy it in peices..

      For about US$2600 the Anthem AVM-1 and for about US$2800 the B&K Ref 30 are two outstanding choices. You can probably also pick up the Sunfire Cinema Grand II (US$3300) for under that price without much haggling.
