Video Asylum

I don't know what is going on. A few days ago channel 5 and only channel 5 started flickering on the top 1/8 of the screen during bright scenes. I have a very nice JVC SVHS 4500 vcr. My TV is an old hitachi tube with a great picture but only vhf/uhf input. Here is what I have tried.

Removing from power and reconnecting.

Resetting channels on VCR.

Swiching between 3 and 4 on TV.

Recording the channel and playing back, there is no flashing.

Using a seperate modulator.

Checking all cable connections, and dissconecting cable modem.

Channel 5 is fine on all other sets in the house.

Please help me.
