Super Hero as Anti Hero.

A Super Hero revenge flick.

I get that the non PC tone and gratuitous gore goes against type. But if they really wanted to push the envelope, why the total lack of nudity and possible S&M images, which would have been plausible given the two characters ? Would have made it more real (at least within the genre) and even more un PC.

Yeah I liked the movie, but given the hype I expected something more over the top....like Superbad meets Super Hero.
