I fully appreciate the intelligent criticism and recommendations by all members of this forum. I have a simple request. It would be helpful to state what provider you used to view the film you are discussing. Of course, I do not mean the name of a theater in a first run. I am specifically referring to a video source of independent, foreign and art house type films.

I subscribe to U-verse and Netflix. Often I am interested in a film described here and do a search on those two providers with no result. If the viewing source is briefly mentioned it might save some of us some search time.

Thank you in advance for your courtesy regarding this request.

More and more it is getting geared towards the lowest form of mass culture. Old, classical and foreign moves are being exterminated on regular basis.

What's even worse - the same junk pops up in many different categories, creating the wrong impression of diversity and breadth.

It is becoming more and more just the source for my boy's guilty pleasures.

I am not familiar with U-verse - how is it in that regard?

I largely agree. However, it is the best source I have for independent and foreign films right now. I only wish they had trailers available. I would certainly not have wasted my time previewing and abruptly terminating many of the type of fare you describe which were previously unknown to me. I do try to check on "Rotten Tomatoes" for trailers, critical reviews and ratings when available and I have the time.

Victor, forgo your moral restrains and use other pirate services also available in your native language . I was wary of using pirate sources of film and music but since our overlords dictate what is available legally and it's mostly the lowest denominator crap for brainwashed retards I just waved my hand and said enough is enough.

We have used those "special" resources for not just "hard to find", but "impossible to find" old films, for which there is no streaming and no DVD's. Yes, there are many Russian language sites like that. Many old Italian, French, German, Russian etc films there. The dubbing is not always good, but at least it is something.
