only $25,000 or so for the panel! This thing has Quad Full HD resolution (3840x2160)! Check out the link.

Samsung is unveiling a 55" LCD LED 3D panel at the CES show in a few days.It will require glasses though.

I think they'd have to be custom...the recordings I mean. Probably why they inferred commercial use.

There's lots of cool video stuff out there for custom use, has been for years, especially for simulators. $$$ doesn't matter much compared to the cost of a fighter/airliner/etc.

Very true if it is indeed a company using it or a person with deep pockets.

I would love to see this in person! I wonder who'll be using this technology, probably Disney or someone?

cfrasher hit it on the head with who uses this tech.

I was in the def. sim biz, & I saw this tech being used in a limited function about 5 years ago... back then it was mainly black & white.....now it has progressed significantly.

Why would a TV require glasses, anyway? What optometrist would even write a prescription for a TV? And what would you call a TV with glasses? 3-eyes?
