Yamaha RX-A860 v Denon X3300W Which has best 2 channel stereo sound ? or is ANTHEM MRX-520 better and worth extra cost.

their HT receivers and their integrated amp share many components. When the time comes to upgrade my Denon 2311CI HT receiver, I'm biting the bullet and going with Anthem.

I am not happy with the stereo sound from the Yamaha A860 and am researching the Anthem MRX-520, anyone have this receiver any issues ?

I don't blame you.That is one hell of an amp and it very tube like and that's no surprise being it was designed by Sonic Frontiers which are known for some very nice sounding and well made tube gear.
