That means you should be able to snap one of these little jewels up for close to $10 less through one of the highly competitive internet vendors like Deep Discount DVD. Note: You may wish to compare the current prices of 8 or so vendors using the DVD Price Search engine (www.dvdpricesearch.com).
What isn't mentioned in the synopsis I'm linking is that this release of Welle's great masterpiece is purportedly being remastered from a pristine interpositive which was located in a European film archive. As I understand it, the original negative was destroyed in a fire in the early '70s, which means that all video versions previously available, including the excellent Criterian LD from the '80s, have been mastered from inferior elements.
So Carl, like the VISA commercial tagline: "What's in your wallet?" :o)
