Roles Other Actors Could Have Played As Well/Better?

For example, I would have liked to have seen Kurt Russell as John McCain in "Die Hard". I think he would have been--though different--as good or better than Bruce. But maybe not the second and third; they were definitely written with Bruce in mind.
