Love it or hate it, I'm sure that all of us will watch the next Oscars (again).
They've moved the show up by one month. Harvey Weinstein at Marimax has said that this change will only disadvantage the smaller films, which often require more time to build up interest. (I suppose that one could always release a film a little earlier, but then, they're subject to being overshadowed by big studio films released later in the year.)
