I recently purchased the silent classic "Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" from CDNow; the version I ordered was of the superior Image Entertainment release pictured for sale at their site. What these goobers shipped a cheap knock off from some outfit called Alpha Video!
All I can tell you is be extra cautious when sale stuff comes up at CDNow; it appears that they're very capable of the ol' bait & switch.
