George Romero: If you don't have plans yet for Halloween, this article might give you a few ideas. Horror master Romero (Night of the Living Dead) is hosting a 36-Hour Scare-A-Thon on Starz Encore's Mystery Channel that will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Mischief Night, Wednesday, October 30, and continue through Halloween, October 31. Some of the scary things to watch as the black cat paces in front of your house include the premiere episode of Night Gallery starring Larry Hagman, all the Romero "Dead" films, Wes Craven's intro film for Freddy Kruger, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Roman Polanski's ode to motherhood, Rosemary's Baby.
