Well, laddies..t'was not even, even though Lucky Jack's a lover.

Yes and No.

Yes -
Magnificent ship
Magnificent art direction
Magnficent scenery
Realism of the battles and daily routine
Excellent acting by the supporting cast

No -
The friggin communist doctor, give me a break..
Music!
Should've been at least 30 min. shorter if they'd cut the damn doctor
Gladiator on high seas feel one too many times
Almost a US Navy ship's crew feel at times, too jovial
There will be a sequel....sigh

Overall 3 out of 5 - too long...

PS - Did they call Brazilian jungle the rain forest in 1805?! Captain did..
