Movie was pretty pathetic except for zellwegger who played her true self, the white trash of the 1860's.
The battle of the crater was not accurate. The first regiments were supposed to be african american troops and they weren't sent in until an hour and a half after the explosion occured. Just another hickup when hollywood gets a hold of history.
I thought Jude Law did a great job getting kidman into bed though. Go Jude.
