I hate when that happens. I'm glad it didn't happen to me. Once I ran out of gas a hundred yards or so from a gas station going 35 and managed to coast into the station and get to a pump barely without using my brakes.
It was a 76 Cordoba 400ci that was a non catalyst from the factory due to it's HD suspension package and didn't need unleaded. Ah that was a cool car. Yellow with yellow corinthian leather.
