Personally, I was concerned about the thing tuning into an unwatchable splatter fest once i heard the manson family was in the story, knowing the guy is famous for making and enjoying violence on the screen.
I was glad the guy was not self indulgent in that way, and I found some of the other indulgences sly and entertaining.
