I was completely underwhelmed by it. I don't understand all the accolades it has received. That was a lot of thrashing about to express "like father, like son." Maybe Brad Pitt being a producer pushed it to the top.
It did emphasize what a complete Nanny State England is. And, I was impressed with the superb British stagecraft exhibited in all the fluid motion and activities when the POV moved down hallways and outside.
Second thought, maybe it was the emotional pain that was conveyed that made it a memorable four hours.
