I haven't seen the flick, and I suspect it would be a bad day if I did see it, but consider the amount of money that was on the table , just waiting to be scooped up if this movie got made.
Yes, pure product films are probably what you dislike about hollywood, but it is an industry, if you don't make money, you don't work for long. I judged this last rambo movie by how long stallone resisted picking that money off the table.
I was raised that men do not gossip, sorry dad. I was told by a women who lived in the same building as stallones trainer, she said it was all liquid muscle, and melted away between movies.
