HDTV addict - watching the commercials now....

Yep, the commercials. They usually have the best images. Plus they change... When you only can receive one station, and even that one with an unstable picture, you cherish every glimpse of that HD beauty. After two minutes, that made-for-TV drama gets unbearable, so you look forward to every new ad. They have colors, they have focus, they have depth.

I am not too ashamed to admit that. On an infinite intellectual scale, this entertainment measures up there with listening to the Amazonia - and would everyone who had done that please get up! See - I am in good company. And think of all those poor souls listening to their twenty SACD's now. Remember how after replacing the exhaust manifolds and mufflers with headers and straight pipes you drove with windows down, rain or snow, just to hear that rumble?

I know that Salo IS available on DVD - but have no idea how good (good! What's "good" about THAT movie? Watching it is like pressing on an aching tooth...) the transfer is. I know there is no way under the Sun that I would be able to talk my wife into watching it.
