I thought you would be happy :)) that I took your suggestion for the ASW 2000 instead of the ASW 1000. I do not think a NON-audiophile like me can listen to the subs that are even better qualitatively or or, and most certainly, any louder, than this one. I am using only one ASW2000 in the main area. and the ASW 1000 has gone to my basement gym.

BTW, my brother dropped by and threw in some rap type of music and I went around for a whole 24 hours trying to pop my ears. Not kidding!!

Also, I got stuff to damp the rear speaker stands but the Bell Oggetti stuff is so solid. I know it is hard to believe but it is some kind of special glass. When it came, I almost dropped it and then almost dropped it AGAIN even when I was moving it one piece of glass at a time. They come with some dampers for contact points between glass and metal. I am not sure that it would pass the test of a seasoned audiophile (I know for example that I can be extremely picky about wine or haute cuisine) but since I am far from knowledgeable about audio, I think it seems adequate.

Now one place where even a non-audiophile like me wants more is my car. Aftermarket means ripping stuff especially my BMW doors which is not negotiable since the only reason I like this car is its taut handling. I am not so much after speed. Oh well maybe a little....:))
So, i am stuck with my stupid decision to go with the stock speakers rather than sign up for the upgrade. Again, I thought I was a non-audiophile. This is why I went with your suggestions because I tend to become deeply into a lot of things and was worried that once I bought it, I might get more into. Perhaps thanks to you, I may have pre-empted any possibility of disappointment at least for now since I was going from zero to 60 and you probably took me to 90 !! Maybe in about a year, if I have not found yet another crazy interest, I will be asking you about going to 100 or more.

Feel free to comment though I think these guys here will throw me out of this forum for the lack of film talk.
