Just saw "All About My Mother" last night and really enjoyed it. I remember seeing "Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!" several years ago and liking that too. Any suggestions for other Almodovar films worth renting?
Oh yeah, "Mother" reminded me that Penelope Cruz is maybe the most beautiful woman in film these days. Hadn't seen her in anything since "Abre Los Ojos (Open Your Eyes)," another interesting Spanish film worth renting. Too bad the American films she's been in ("Woman on Top," "Pretty Horses") have been less than stellar. Like Doug, I'm hoping for a director's cut of "Pretty Horses."
