"An Affair of Love" - is it just me or is it really a bunch of pointless French kaka?

Seems like a complete waste of acting talent. Well, Nathalie Baye, anyway. Because Sergi López (With a Friend Like Harry) is not the top class actor in my mind.

French? The film is listed as being "France / Switzerland / Belgium / Luxembourg" so all of the above share in that kaka. Or is it caca?
