I watched MR the other night for the first time as well on the big screen, with pre-conceived negative notions and predudices, which were put to rest in a big way as I was taking the whole experience in! This film was, in my opinion, a grand cinematic work of art, and a total joy to watch! It definitely has a different feel to it because it IS different! BUT the acting is SPECTACULAR, and the allusion to retro music hits just phenomenal! The use of past hits totally works in this wonderful and colorful movie, and I was totally moved with how the story unfolded and especially, how it ended. This movie is best enjoyed with a loved one/significant other!This movie absolutely stands on it's own in a big way, and the acting is first rate! Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman are stunning!
Do NOT miss this gem!
