Re: Kino's "The Blue Angel"...Anyone pick this up besides me ?

I agree completely. "Blue Angel" is a great film and the dvd was a masterful presentation of it. Seeing Marlene Dietrich's first ever screen test done in 1928(for this movie) was also a treat.

By the way, I ordered G.W. Pabst's 1929 film "Diary of a Lost Girl" starring Louise Brooks at the same time. Another exceptional film and dvd presentation.
