I probably can't quite call myself his fan, but Tampopo was sheer delight.
I tried to buy the Taxing Woman, but the cheapest used copy on Amazon was $50, so I backed off. Will try to rent it instead.
You are right - no traces of Supermarket Woman not even on ebay.
