Re: About movies: 5 questions for you.

1) Hate: Moulin Rouge (musical version)

2) Love: Starship Trooper

3) Cry (or almost): LoTR (several scenes during the trilogy); Finding Nemo (several scenes); Chicken Run (hatchet scene); City Lights (silent; Chaplin; several scenes); Sunrise (several scenes); AI Artificial Intelligence (several scenes)

4) Laugh (every time): The Kid Brother (silent; Harold Lloyd); Duck Soup (several scenes); Antz (several scenes); Monsters Inc. (several scenes); Chicken Run (many scenes); Red Ryder (serial; scene where muscular stunt man rides up on horse and cuts to Little Beaver, small kid, dismounting the horse); Spy Smasher (serial; scene of two brothers climbing on back of motor cycle, then cuts to mid-distance shots where an obvious dummy is strapped on behind the stunt driver).

5) Scares every time: Psycho (A. Hitchcock, dir., shower scene; staircase scene; basement scene); Freaks (Tod Browning, dir; deformed side-show anomalies; more disturbing than scary); Haunting of Hill House (Robert Wise, dir.; door breathing scene, et al); Alien & Aliens (several scenes); The Sixth Sense (several scenes); Seven (several scenes); The Exorcist (several scenes)

These are all I could come up with off-hand, but I'm sure that there are quite a few more in each category that I'm just not thinking of at present.
